Synopsis: Born in 1860, Annie works hard on her family
farm in Ohio. As she struggles to help keep her poor family together,
Annie discovers a natural talent for shooting and earns her living
through hunting. In 1875, Annie wins a shooting match against professional
marksman Frank Butler who falls in love with her. With Frank as
her manager and husband, Annie embarks on a career of show business
and sharp-shooting, meeting Sitting Bull, Buffalo Bill and several
members of royalty as she travels around the world.
“I am an actress, a horsewoman, a
seamstress, a cook, and a gardener … I am also ‘Little
Sure Shot’: one of the best hunters and sharpshooters the
world has ever seen. And, for all my roles, I am a lady.”
